Yesterday, Gowalla officially closed its doors. In case you didn't know, Gowalla was providing all the data for Go Explore. We are currently working to migrate the app over to a new data provider. Please note the app will most likely change a bit with this update, as other data providers do not provide the same data that Gowalla did.

We are very sad to see Gowalla go, but please bear with us as we update the app in the next few days.

Be sure to check the app store for updates.

This version also forces the iPad version to use landscape mode. We felt that the best app experience was while using the app in landscape mode, so we nixed the portrait mode. It may come back in the future if it is heavily requested.

We're very happy to announce that Go Explore! version 1.20 is now available on the Apple App Store. Version 1.20 was our first major upgrade since the first release. The iPhone version received a few updates, but the big update was making the app a universal app for both iPhone and iPad. Now the iPad has a custom designed interface to utilize the larger screen.

Also to celebrate the release of version 1.20 we are making the app FREE to download through Friday! So if you haven't yet, now would be a good time to check out Go Explore!
